We're decking the halls just for you! Join us for Christmas Eve Worship
Where? 14700 SE Rupert Dr, Oak Grove, OR 97267 We're the thing that Oak Grove Blvd. jogs around!
What Time? 10:30am & 8:00pm
10:30 am We'll sing carols, read the Christmas story, share a "Children of All Ages Message," and share communion -- which is open to ALL. This will be a child-friendly service so most children will want to stay in worship, but the family space and nursery will be available for little ones (or parents!) who need a break.
8:00 pm We'll sing carols, read the Christmas Story, there will be a short sermon (@ 10 minutes), share communion (which is open to ALL) and everyone will light candles and sing Silent Night. This is a child-friendly service, but we will also offer busy bags, and the family space and nursery will be available for little ones (or parents!) who need a break. If you come early to get a seat, you'll enjoy our special musical prelude concert which starts at 7:30pm, but don't worry if you're running late, our ushers will help you find seats for your whole family together.
What should I wear? Just wear what you feel comfortable in. As you can see from last year's picture, above, some folks dress up and some folks wear jeans. Worship will be the easy part of your day!
Child care is available in the nursery for ages 6 and under, but it's completely OK to keep your children with you in church. Baby noises and wiggles don't bother us! We also offer busy bags with activities for children, and a family space where you can take a break and still hear the service.
You'll be welcomed with a smile and hand shake when you come in, but we won't make you stand up and introduce yourself! If you'd like to know more about the church, fill out the Get Connected insert in the bulletin and bring it to the welcome table in the lobby and we'll give you a little Christmas gift and happily answer any questions.
100% of our evening offering will go Clackamas Service Center to support our house-less and hungry neighbors. We are proud to partner with Clackamas Service Center on a monthly basis, providing meal support and funding for the homelessness outreach program.
Parking? There are two parking lots, in the front and back of the church. The accessible entrance is in the back, entering through Summerland Court, off of Oak Grove Blvd, or you can drive around the side of the church from the front.
